Christine C. Meadows (Covert)
1952-2026
Christine C. Meadows (Covert), age 73, of Cassadaga, NY, passed away peacefully at Brooks Memorial Hospital on July 11, 2026. Chrissy was born on August 22, 1952, in Dunkirk, NY, and graduated from Fredonia Central High School in 1971. She was the beloved daughter of the late Merle and Carrie Covert. On June 30, 1973, she married her devoted husband, Willis “Butch” E. Meadows, Jr., at Sheridan United Methodist Church. Chrissy will be remembered for her caring heart, her deep love for family and friends, and the joy she found in the companionship of her dogs. She especially cherished weekends at camp, where she could spend time with those she loved most.
In addition to her parents, Chrissy was predeceased by her son, Jamie Meadows, and her siblings, Roland Covert, Merlin (Leonard) Peglow, and Rex Allen Covert.
Chrissy is lovingly survived by her husband, Willis “Butch” E. Meadows, Jr.; her son, Jeremy (Mary) Meadows; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Chrissy’s wishes, no services will be held at this time.
