Christine Lillian Huff, 75, passed peacefully at Brooks Memorial Hospital on Sunday, July 5, 2026 surrounded by family and friends.
She was born on March 24, 1951 in Dunkirk, NY the daughter of Robert L. King and Lucy (Mancuso) King.
Christine is predeceased by her youngest daughter, Amy Huff, and her sister, Mary Elizabeth King. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Lawrence K. Huff, Sr., her eldest daughter, Jessica (Tony Memmo) Huff, her son, Lawrence K. Huff, Jr., and a sister of the heart, Renee Farnham-Cope. Her grandchildren were the joys of her life: James Memmo, Summer Chapman, Seth Huff, Caterina Huff, Sage Huff, XuXa Huff, Sampson John, and Logan Brown. Christine had four great-grandchildren.
Christine’s passions included flower gardening, bird watching, and fly fishing. She enjoyed socializing with friends and organizing events. She was known for giving selflessly to others from gifting to the homeless, supporting several charities, tithing
religiously, and being willing to help anyone in need.
Christine is well known locally as a Mary Kay Consultant, appreciated by many brides and grooms as their wedding event planner, and more recently served as a Library Page at Anderson Lee Library. Christine’s love and passion for event planning resulted in two wildly successful simultaneous Book Clubs at Anderson Lee as well as planning an extensive program for the annual Native American Month Celebration.
A funeral service will be held at the Chautauqua Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center at 10836 Temple Road Dunkirk, NY on Sunday, July 12th at 3:00PM. The service will be preceded by a remembrance hour with light refreshments at 2:00PM. There will not be a viewing or internment.
