Deborah Welka died July 15, 2026, at her home in Fredonia, NY, after a long illness. Born April 11, 1965 in Dunkirk, NY. Daughter of the Late Walter and Diane (Guichard) Welka. Deborah was 62 years of age. Born and raised in Dunkirk, NY.
She graduated from the Dunkirk School system.
She worked for ASPIRE as a Health Aide on Rt5, Nursing Home. She was an avid hunter and fisher who loved being outside. She loved her children with unwavering devotion and unconditional love.
She is survived by her two daughters, Ashley and Kaityn Lloyd; four brothers, Robert Welka, Dennis (Amykiley), David (Nicole), Chad (Angela) Welka; five granddaughters, Lily Hafna, Amaya Wood, Gracelynn, Mille, and Adeline Ostrom, five grandsons, Kayden, Oden, Sawyer, Ryker and Mason Cravens. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Also preceded by her parents, and grandmother, Adeline Guichard, great grandmother, Mary Grzechowiak, and brother, Wally Welka.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 7:00 pm at the FANTAUZZI FUNERAL HOME, 82 E. Main St., Fredonia, NY. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the service and may call at the Funeral Home from 5-7. Internment will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Dunkirk, NY.
