Mary Malek

She was born January 4, 1951 in Gowanda, NY the daughter of the late Richard and Loretta (Gehrke) Frank.

Mrs. Malek was married to James Malek Sr. who predeceased her.

She was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years at JN Adam in Perrysburg, NY and with WNYDDSO.She was a Lifetime member of the Springville VFW and was a member of the Springville American Legion, Otto Vol. Fire Dept. Aux. and she also taught Sunday School.

Mrs.Malek is survived by 2 sons John (Danelle) Parent Jr. of Cattaraugus, NY, James (Jess) Malek Jr. of Arkport, NY and 2 daughters Jean Long of Jamestown, NY and Jan Parent of Niagara Falls, NY and 8 grandchildren Jeweleigh, Kayleigh, Skyler, Ethan. Mackenzie, Devin, Brandon and Jayden.Also surviving is a great granddaughter Elianna.Also surviving is a sister Kathy Frank of Cattaraugus, NY .

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Judith VanCise.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Legion in Springville, NY or the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Otto, NY Arrangements are under the direction of Mentley Funeral Home Inc. 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley, NY.
