Michael W. Dalrymple, 70, of Chassahowitzka, Florida, passed away on August 30, 2025, at Tampa General Hospital in Crystal River, Florida.
Mike was born December 3, 1954, in Dunkirk, New York, to the late Orrin O. Dalrymple and Marilyn Till Dalrymple.
He spent his earlier years in Fredonia and the surrounding area, graduating from Fredonia High School, before making his home in Chassahowitzka for the last 25 years.
Mike was a skilled auto body repair man with a lifelong love of classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He was a member of a couple of motorcycle clubs over the years, including the Hadeans and the
Midnight Brotherhood. He was the kind of man who helped people quietly and without fan fare — not for recognition, but be cause it was the right thing to do.
He lived life on his own terms, with no regrets, and was known as an honest, loyal friend to the many people he considered family.
He is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Ryan and Kandy Nash (Russell); nieces and nephews, Jessica Ryan Keller, Justin Ryan (Sarah), Valerie Nash Brown (Sean), and Allan Nash; three great-nephews, and two great-nieces; and countless friends who loved him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday August 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280, 228 Maple Street, Cassadaga, New York 14718.
The celebration will be preceded by a memorial tribute motorcycle ride by his biker brothers, meeting at the American Legion at 10:00 a.m., with kickstands up at 11:00 a.m. Riders will return to the Legion, where the celebration of life will continue with food and refreshments.
