Stepheney A. Lysek, loving mother of Avery L. Hannah and Kayleigh R. Hannah, partner of Robert Hannah Jr., daughter of Elizabeth C. Lysek (nee Walters) and the late Robert W. Lysek, granddaughter of the late Stephen and Rose Lysek and the late Ingrid Morrison, died unexpectedly on the night of June 28th.
Stepheney was a beautiful ‘Angel’ on earth. She was a kind-hearted, intelligent, and talented young lady who loved her job working as a Special Ed Teacher’s Aide at the Wheelock Early Childhood Center and loved the children and staff she worked with. Stepheney is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Avery (7) and Kayleigh (1), as well as her three step sons; Robert, Emmitt, and William Hannah. Stepheney is also survived by her mother, Elizabeth C. Lysek, her sisters Courtney E. Kuczewski and Ashley R. Lysek, and her brother Jeremy R. Lysek; as well as nieces, Selina DelValle, Cambry and Aria Paternostro, Lilly Lysek, and nephew Levi Lysek. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many others who loved her.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Sunday, July 5, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc.; 56 East Doughty St, Dunkirk, NY. Interment will be held privately in St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Cemetery in Buffalo, where our beloved Stepheney will be laid to rest beside her late Father.
