David (Cricket) R. Emke, 62, of South Dayton passed on August 19, 2026
He was born June 10, 1964, in Gowanda, NY to his parents, David H. and Diane (Webber) Emke.
David went to Pine Valley Central Schools . He worked on the family farm and retired from Bailey Manufacturing in Forestville
He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and gardening.
David is survived by his children, Rachael Whalen, Robert Emke, Ashley Emke and Dennis (Michelle) Emke, 14 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, his mother, Diane Emke, his siblings, Dennis (Lorrie) Emke, Dwayne (Kathy) Emke, Daryl Emke, Debra (Rick) Walker and Doris (Jim) Treusch also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his wife, Claire.
Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral home 478 Route 83 at Balcom Corners, South Dayton on Friday August 28, 2026 12PM - 2PM where a funeral service will immediately follow.
Interment will follow in Villenova Cemetery.
