Jeffrey R. Korbar ,age 62 of Gowanda passed away at home Tuesday morning August 25, 2026 surrounded by family.
Jeffrey was born in Gowanda November 19, 1963 the son of Joseph and Sandra (Schunk) Korbar.
Jeffrey worked at Spartan Warehouse in Gowanda prior to his death, he delivered parts to many farms and companies in the Western NY area. After graduation at Gowanda Central Jeffrey enlisted with the United States Navy .
Survivors include his mother, T. Sandra Korbar of Gowanda, his father, Joseph (Bonnie Drodz) Korbar of Cattaraugus, children; Jeffrey Sines, of Portsmouth, Va, and Jessica Korbar of Versailles. Grandchildren; Brileigh, Aubree and Laney along with his siblings; Joseph Korbar of Gowanda, James Korbar of Corning, Arkansas, John Korbar of Gowanda ,and Jacquelyn (Danny) Spear of Dawsonville, Ga. Jeffrey is also survived by his Aunt Janice Schunk of Gowanda and Uncle Jerry Schunk of Cocoa Beach, Fla.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents along with his son Richard Miller. Richard passed away Jan. 15, 2017.
Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Gowanda from 4:00-7:00pm Friday August 28, 2026. Prayers will be said at 7pm Friday.
Memorials, if desired may be made to a local charity of ones choice.
