Manuel Padua, Jr.

1954-2026

Manuel Padua, Jr.

Manuel Padua Jr., or "Manny," as he was known by many, was born on January 1, 1954, in Brooklyn, NY. He was the beloved husband of Ramona Padua and a devoted father to Manuel Padua III, Alexandra Avila, Melanie Martinez, Floripe Padua, Edwin Lacen, and Alex Lacen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Padua and Rosa Burgos.

Manuel was a dedicated employee of Nestle Purina, where he worked for more than 25 years. A natural problem-solver, he loved working with his hands and was always finding something to fix, build, or improve. Whether he was working on computers and electronics, fixing cars, or tackling projects around the house, Manuel was happiest when he had something to work on and a problem to solve.

Manuel was tough, determined, and someone his family could always depend on, but he also had an amazing sense of humor and knew how to make those around him laugh. Above all, he cared deeply for his family. He was a loving grandfather to fourteen grandchildren and had a special place in his heart for his dogs, Teenie and Sammie, who were beloved members of the family.

Manuel will be remembered for his humor, strength, resourcefulness, and devotion to those closest to him. His presence, his laughter, and the countless ways he showed how much he cared will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
