Owen Alvin Taylor Jr., 89, of Dunkirk, New York, passed away, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of service, love, and devotion to his family.
Owen proudly served his country as an Army Airborne Ranger. Following his military service, he enjoyed a life in the simple pleasures of the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and found great satisfaction in gardening.
Owen will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and the unconditional love he showed to his family.
He is survived by his loving sons, Scott Taylor and Raymond Taylor; his beloved grandchildren, Amber, Stephanie, Joshua, Vinny, Dominic, Joey, Nichole, Derek, Brittany and Zach; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Owen's legacy will live on through the values he instilled in his family and the countless lives he touched throughout his 89 years.
The family finds comfort in the words of Proverbs 10:7:
"The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot."
