Anna E. Russell, 87, of Silver Creek, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday evening October 11, 2026 at her home with her family at her side. She was born in North Bend, Pa on August 20, 1939 the daughter of the late Benny and Ida Abbott. She married Ray Russell on October 31, 1952 and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2002.
She is survived by four beloved children, Rose (Bill) Russell-Fitzner of Catawba, NC, Robin (late Roger) Woodcock of Ripley, NY, Rae (late Ross) Worden and Roger Russell both of Silver Creek, NY; seven cherished grandchildren, Terry Piccolo, Ben Russell, Barbara Woodcock-Ward, Roger (Angel Doner) Woodcock Jr., Samantha Laskey, Rebecca and Kelly (Nicole) Worden; sixteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren; a dear sister, Sarah (late Bill) Garmin; also survived by many nieces & nphews.
She is predeceased by two sons, Roy (late Elizabeth) and Clarence Russell, two grandsons, David and Dana Russell and a brother, William Abbott.
Anna enjoyed gardening and she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
As per Anna's wishes there will be no public visitation .A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience on the family.
