Deborah A. Fisher age 77 of Gowanda passed away Friday afternoon October 23, 2026 surrounded by family and love.
Deborah was born in Buffalo, NY on December 9, 1948 the daughter of LeRoy and Helen (Cocoran) Goodley.
After graduating high school Deb went onto nursing school, her career as a Registered Nurse started in 1969 and spanned 35 years . She worked at the former Tri-County Hospital, Gowanda, the former Lakeshore Hospital in Irving, she retired from the former Gowanda Psychiatric Center.
Deb was a devoted mom, she loved her family, followed her faith and treasured friendships throughout her life.
Survivors include her children ; Joseph (Charity) Sweda of Gowanda, Tara (Miguel) Sanchez of Gowanda. Grandchildren; Jace , Samuel and Hunter. She shared her life with John Fisher for 20 years, John and his children Annie, Scott and Kellye and their families also survive as does her brother, Robert (Genevieve) Goodley.
Friends may call Monday November 2, 2026 from 10-11:00 followed by an 11am Service at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Gowanda. Rev Innocent Diala Celebtant . Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery Gowanda.
