Jacqueline "Jacqui" Arlene Topliffe Riggins, 83, of Brocton, New York, passed away on September 29, 2026.
Born on August 14, 1943, Jacqui grew up in Fredonia, NY, and later made her home in Brocton. She was known for her infectious smile, quick sense of humor, and the joy she brought to everyone she met. She found happiness in nature, especially birds, butterflies, hummingbirds, and her beloved dogs, who were family to her.
Jacqui was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Robert Topliffe; her husband, Norman Riggins; her sister, Diane; and her cherished dogs, Scooter, Cinnamon, Maggie Sue, and Jack-a-Boo.
She is survived by her sisters, Karen (Glen) Mayerhoffer of Fredonia, NY, and Sharon (Jerry) Riness of WI; her only daughter, Joy Lynn (Billy) Buell of Valley Lee, MD; granddaughters, Cassandra (Logan) Berkau and Amanda Renney and great-grandchildren, Jasmin McBride, Elisa McBride and Savannah Berkau.
A celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pet's Pantry in her memory.
Those who knew Jacqui will remember her kindness, her laughter, and the smiles she so loved to share. If remembering her brings a smile to your face, then she has given you one last gift.
