Judith A. Frazier 79, passed away at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk on Thursday, October 8th 2026 after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Philip and Dorothy DePasquale, Judith was born March 7th, 1947 in Dunkirk NY. She attended Dunkirk High School and went on to graduate Beauty School in Buffalo before opening Judy's Beauty Salon in Dunkirk. Judy operated her own small business for over 25 years before beginning a second career with Brooks Home Care, first as a Home Health Care Aide and then scheduling in their Dunkirk and Jamestown offices. Prior to retiring, her final employment was working as a Mental Health Aide on the Behavioral Health Unit of Lake Shore Hospital in Irving NY. Through all her employment experiences, she formed and maintained many wonderful friendships that continued for the rest of her life.
In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, crocheting and watching the Hallmark Channel. Above all else, her highest priority was her family, her children and especially her loving grandsons. Nothing gave her more joy than seeing them work towards and achieve their goals. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. In her later years, she struggled with ongoing chronic health issues limiting her activities but, she enjoyed staying connected with extended family and friends through Facebook, regular phone calls and emails. She was the definition of strength and resiliency. She weathered every challenge life offered her and continued moving forward, always there, supporting her family in whatever way she could. She always put the needs of others first.
She is survived by her eldest son, Dennis (Tracy) Frazier, and grandsons, Clayton Frazier and Cash Pachol. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph (Lori) DePasquale and nephews, Philip (Megan) DePasquale and Jason DePasquale.
