Margaret J. "Peggy" Youngberg, 72, of Rt. 39, Forestville, died unexpectedly Monday, October 19, 2026 at Buffalo General Medical Center, Buffalo. She was born in the Town of Hanover on March 28, 1954, the daughter of the late Ralph "Leigh" and Jean (Downer) Waterman.
Peggy was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1972, started at JCC and graduated from Jamestown Business College with an Associate's Degree. She worked as an LPN for Dr. Milazzo along with many other local doctors & hospitals. Peggy was an organ donor with Connect Life to continue helping others. She loved her grandson and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include husband, Donald "Don" Youngberg, whom she married on August 1, 1981 in Smith Mills, two daughters; Abbey (Clayton) Blackman, and Libbey Youngberg, three brothers; James (Nancy) Waterman, John (Ellen) Waterman, Neil (Martha) Waterman. Also surviving are one grandson, Colton Blackman and numerous nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers; Richard L and W. Dale Waterman.
Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm from where Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clkock with Rev. James LaBarr, pastor of Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, Fredonia, officiating. Private Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Smith Mills Cemetery.
