Nancy Spacciapolli Pereira, formally of Fredonia, NY, passed to the Lord on September 20th, 2026.
She is survived by her daughter, Donatella Spacciapolli Pereira (Richard) of NYC and a brother, Michael Spacciapolli (Patricia) of San Diego, CA. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins and close friends, Antonio Pereira and Lucio DiToro. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence F. Spacciapolli and Rose Monico Spacciapolli and a brother, Lawrence G. Spacciapolli (Daryl).
Nancy's devotion was to bring the world to the many children she taught in Foxborough, MA and Dunkirk, NY. She graduated from the State University College at Buffalo, Universita de Siena, Italy and the Duccio di Buoninsegna scuola dell Art, Siena, Italy.
A talented artist, herself, she made it her goal to introduce her students to the world looking through the eyes of art. During her 31 years as an art teacher, she also taught french to gifted elementary students and for a period of time took on the job of Professional Development Coordinator to help each teacher become the best for their students.
Nancy was an avid traveler and lived in several countries other than the USA. She spoke several languages and incorporated them and the history of the world through her class room, via art.
Her friends were many and will remember her as a witty, unique person, always willing to try something out of the ordinary and stand up for her beliefs. If Nancy was your friend, you could always believe she would be there to help you.
She will be greatly missed.
