Vicki S. (Throneberry) Stevens, 76, of Fredonia, NY, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born March 4, 1950, in Tiffin, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert L. and Bonnie J. (Shetterly) Throneberry. She spent many years in Southern California, where she worked in health care services and retired as an administrative assistant from Kaiser Permanente in Upland, CA.
Vicki loved to travel and proudly considered herself a "Foodie," with a special fondness for snacks and sweets. Above all, she was a woman with a loving and kind heart. She found her greatest joy in being with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Serving the people she loved was how she showed her heart. She had a gift for making friends feel like family, and her door was always open to anyone who needed a place to belong.
Vicki is survived by her children: Kara (Miguel) Dipini of Dunkirk, NY, Jennifer (Michael) Davis of Riverside, CA, Tanya McCrate (Tracy Carter) of Fredonia, NY, and Patience (Charles) Rosario of Fredonia, NY; her bonus daughter, Katina; her grandchildren: Jessica Snyder, Jenna Davis, Russell Ellis, Isaiah Dipini, Gabriel Rosario, Victoria Martinez, Sydney Ellis, Charles Rosario Jr., Makaila Rosario, and Damaris Dipini; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Debra Lusitana; her brother, Michael Throneberry; and countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and precious friends.
Besides her parents, Vicki was predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Jeffrey Warren, and her husbands, Allen Haughn and Jesse Stevens.
In the words of one of her favorite poems, "I Am Free": "Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow."V
