FARM FEST: Committee gets job done
Evonne Henneberry stepped up when no one else did. She decided, at a time this past spring when there was uncertainty about whether there would be a Fredonia Farm Festival, to chair the event.
We tip our hat to her — and the rest of the volunteer committee. Great job this weekend.
The 49th event filled Barker Common and brought thousands to downtown. There were excellent events each day, capped by a well-attended car show and parade.
Next year will mark the silver anniversary for the festival. Let’s hope more volunteers come forward for the event.
