WCA event brightens holiday
A big thank you to the Dunkirk-Fredonia and surrounding communities for making The WCA Home’s eighth annual “Gently-Used Christmas” sale a huge success!
The Friends of WCA Auxiliary were very pleased with the generous donations of Christmas items for the sale. There was a large variety of gently used and new Christmas items for people to choose from for the sale that took place on Dec. 1. A large number of people came to the sale to purchase items at very reasonable prices. Some were yearly event goers, while we had many new faces in the crowd. We thank you for your support!
This was the most successful sale so far. Funds raised for activities and entertainment to benefit the men and women who reside at The Home exceeded $1,222!
The Home provides its residents and respite care guests with quality living, safety, companionship, and all the comforts of a “home away from home.” The dedicated and trained staff are committed to maintaining a quality of care that is unsurpassed. Its special blend of privacy and care allows for personal reflection, as well as group interaction and assistance when needed.
The Friends of WCA Auxiliary organizes two events each year to help defray the costs of activities for the residents. If you are interested in being a part of this fun group, please call The Home at 672-7961.
Thanks to everyone for their generosity!
