Sometimes in this day and age, it is very hard to ignore some people who have no common sense whatsoever.

Take, for instance, those who are critical of state Senator Catharine Young. Professional politicians of the caliber of this lawmaker are few and far between in Albany. Senator Young is for the people of this state and always has been.

There are misguided individuals who think they know our laws, and those who do really know our laws. For instance, domestic violence is not always with a weapon. Those who assume that do not have all the facts.

Weapons of any kind can be purchased illegally, behind the scenes at any time of the day or night. Criminals use their purchases without any hesitation in any type of crime. The only people who are scrutinized when it comes to any types of weapons are the legal gun owners. The liberal, bleeding-heart do-gooders always seem to blame the legal citizens with weapons as the bad guy, but the do-gooders seem to forget that the bad guys are out there. If the good guys are defenseless without the means to protect their families, then the bad guys who can get those weapons any time they want are a threat.

All the SAFE Act did was harass the decent citizens of this state who are legal gun owners. Thank God for extreme organizations like the National Rifle Association protecting the rights of the decent citizens of this state. As far as the so-called statistics for the so-called death rate in the state, tell that to the families of the dead police officers in New York City. I am sure they would appreciate comments from you liberal do-gooder bleeding hearts of this state.

Tell that to the families who were burglarized in their homes with illegal weapons and killing those people. Don’t you think they deserved some sort of protection to defend themselves from those elements?

In this day and age, if you have a family, you better protect them with any means possible. If the do-gooders are against gun violence, then you better wake up to the facts of life. If a criminal wants a gun illegally, they will get it. So don’t blame the legal gun owners for the criminal actions in this country.

Wake up, liberals, and see the light. Worry more about terrorists.
