Don’t be fooled by state proposition
On the ballot for Nov. 5, Proposal 1 intends to box you in a corner to make you look like a fool if you vote “NO.” But what if Proposal 1 is fools gold, who then is the fool?
Protections for “identity politics” in Proposal 1 are fools gold. The fools gold of cultural Marxism makes up rights and protections to fit a political agenda at the expense of others. For example, girls have to give up their rights to their own sports to accommodate the “right” of males pretending to be female athletes.
A woman will have to give up her right to privacy in a bathroom to men faking female identities. A man’s right to his imagined identity overrides whatever rights and protections real women have left. Sorority sisters better watch out because Proposal 1 would allow fake sisters in. In short, the rising force of identity politics will force females to forego their rights to favor males pretending to be one of them.
We’re told that it won’t change the laws already in the books, but don’t amendments have more “say” than laws? Can’t you see the dollar signs light up in law offices ready to pounce with litigation as the provisions in the amendment conflict with current laws? Greedy government fingers will dig deep into taxpayer pockets to make sure the state’s side of a case is amply funded.
The combination of banning discrimination against age and sexual orientation greases the skids for pedophiles. Who can’t see how the passing of Proposal 1 swings the door open to legally legitimize sexual proclivities of pedophiles on children? Without objective absolute truth, anyone living by the “my truth — your truth” nonsense will have a hard time pushing back on pedophiles who find legal leverage for their lifestyle with the potential passing of Proposal 1.
If you want to put a smile on the face of a pedophile, then vote “Yes” on Proposal 1.
If you want to threaten the safety, as well as scholarships and championships, for girls in their sports, then vote “Yes.”
If you want parents to be kept in the dark about their children changing genders, then vote “Yes.”
If you want a bonanza for lawsuit-seeking lawyers to line their pockets with your money, then vote “Yes.”
If you want to empower the government to discriminate against you, your family and your business, then vote “Yes” for the idiot magnet of Proposal 1.
James Woods was spot on by remarking, “America is not divided by race, color, gender and sexual orientation. America is divided into wise people and fools and fools divide themselves by race, color, gender and sexual orientation.” Proposal 1 is bling for fools.
All that glitters is not gold. Proposal 1 glitters and it’s not gold. The glittery text on the ballot for Nov. 5 will likely read: “A ‘Yes’ vote puts these protections against discrimination in the New York State Constitution. A ‘No’ vote leaves these protections out of the State Constitution.” Don’t be fooled; these protections are fools gold. Don’t fall for the idiot magnet. Turn your ballot over and Vote “No.”
