Speaking up over troubling trends

A recent column by one of the many pro-Trumpers around here offered up “pragmatism” as the reason so many Democrats hate President Donald Trump. Here are just a few of the real reasons.

Trump has repeatedly disrespected our men and women in the Armed Forces, a service he himself avoided back in the day. Trump lied profusely during the campaign about immigrants in Ohio eating neighborhood pets, even after the facts proved otherwise. Trump is a felon convicted of 34 counts of financial fraud. Trump is a criminal convicted of sexual assault against E. Jean Carroll. Trump covered up his affair with Stormy Daniels, then falsified his financial payoff to her, for which his attorney went to prison. Trump is costing the American taxpayer at least $3 million each time he plays golf (24 times since Jan 20).

Maybe the worst of his actions so far has been the disgraceful pardon of 1,500 convicted rioters, whom he unbelievably calls “patriots.” These are just a few of the real reasons Democrats hate this President.

Trump doesn’t even realize he’s setting the stage for his own demise, with the millions of protesters out in the streets, including conservatives and his own MAGA followers. American citizens have finally joined the fight to take back our country. Something the gutless wonders in Congress have failed to do.
