A recent polemic subjected us — yet again — to an absolutely ignorant use of the term “fascist”, along with a weird interpretation of “democracy.” The writer was identified as a SUNY Fredonia student, so we have every right to question what they are teaching at SUNY Fredonia – certainly not political history. But that is another topic.

Hurling the “Fascist!” epithet is how the Woke Left marginalizes the “other”, while obscuring their own authoritarian motives. Nazis used the same technique, so it is delicious irony that the author does the same.

The writer wants us to believe the transgender community is being denied rights by “fascist laws” “restricting gender-affirming care, access to bathrooms, and legal recognition.” He also claims those laws “threaten democracy,” while conveniently ignoring that those laws are the result of democracy. Maybe the writer could reveal instances wherein transgendered people were refused the right to vote.

The writer directly implied that biological men should be able to inhabit girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms, and compete in sports reserved for biological women. Nowhere does the author consider that the rights of others are being transgressed by Trans Ideology itself.

Or does the writer acknowledge the severe damage done by the Trans Industry to countless children who were manipulated to believe they are wrongly gendered by Mother Nature. That’s called iatrogenics – harm done by the (so-called) healer. Perhaps the author should have studied the horror stories from thousands of Trans Industry victims like Chloe Cole before condemning laws designed to protect those children.

Twenty years ago only one in 10,000 people reported gender dysphoria. Today 5% of children have been coached into believing they were born the wrong gender. What changed? Was it manipulation by the greedy Trans Industry?

The writer implicitly demands we collectively celebrate, support, and subsidize the Trans Ideology, but this is not a demand for Transgender rights – it is a demand to grant special privileges to the Trans community, paid for by everyone else.

Trans Ideology comes from Critical Gender Theory, which was born from the Neo-Marxist application of Critical Theory to gender. Like Critical Race Theory, it assumes there is no such thing as objective truth – only subjective truth. Hence, Trans Ideology is built on the quicksand of subjectivity, not the rock of objectivity. This enables the ideologically-minded Trans Advocates to believe they can unilaterally change the definition of “gender” to mean whatever they prefer at any moment in time.

To test their ideology, we ask if biological males can avoid prostate problems by identifying as females and performing drag shows.

Trans Ideology claims that gender is merely a social construct, and does not differentiate between (1) Natural Gender, (2) Reconfigured Physiology, and (3) Gender Presentation:

— Natural (Biological) Gender is objective, and can never be changed. Chromosomes don’t lie (female: XX; male: XY). Mother Nature does not yield to whims.

— Modified Physiology (pretentiously called “gender reassignment” by the Trans Ideology) surgically modifies the body, but cannot change Gender any more than piercing the ears. Of course, the term “gender re-assignment” implies that “gender” is an objective male/female binary. Hence, Trans Ideology is trapped within its own contradiction.

— Gender Presentation is a personal choice, and can change like a chameleon changes color. A biological male can make himself act and appear like a traditional female one moment, a traditional male the next moment, and then as a gender bender on an infinite scale if desired. Hence, Gender Presentation is simply a lifestyle choice, and has no relation to a Gender in the objective application of law.

But do not conflate Trans Ideology with “gay.” Homosexuality, by definition, assumes biological gender.

Now we must ask what is meant by “transgender rights.” Rights, by definition, are actions people can take without interference from others. All rights must exist concurrently and be non-contradictory across the population.

Individuals (of legal age) have the inalienable right to modify their bodies and present themselves any way they want. But, that right does place an obligation on others to pay for it. Laws that forbid the public funding of the Trans Industry exist to protect the rights of those who do not subscribe to the Trans Ideology. However, those who believe in Trans Ideology are free to contribute to their hearts’ content.

Nor does the Trans Industry have the right to push their ideology on our children, especially in public schools. England, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Germany, and others have outlawed the transgendering of minors. Does the author accuse these countries of fascism?

The Chloe Cole case reveals that the Trans Industry now has civil liability for harming children. Researchers have shown that in nearly all instances, gender dysphoria in a child resolves itself during puberty. Hence, intervention by the Trans Industry typically does much more harm than good.

Perhaps the author should study all aspects of the topic prior to making cliched and unhinged claims about “fascist laws” and “threats to democracy.”

Perhaps he should think about the serious harm done to children by the Trans Industry itself. Perhaps he should read two books by researcher Abigail Schrier: “Bad Therapy” (2025) and “Irreversible Damage” (2020). Perhaps he should then give those books to his SUNY Fredonia professors along with a history of fascism.

“Gender Affirming Care” should be focused on affirming a person’s natural gender, rather than perpetuating the Trans Illusion requiring a lifetime of treatment.

It is time to send Trantifa packing.
