The recent U.S. government shutdown brought to light America’s debate over government intervention in our economy, and particularly in healthcare. Are we Socialist? Free-Market? Something else?

Obamacare was sold as the remedy for perceived shortcomings in U.S. healthcare. Its supporters promised to save families $2,500 per year, contain costs, and make healthcare unicorns available for all. Yet, Democrats recently held the nation hostage for 45 days of shutdown demanding additional subsidies to rescue Obamacare from itself.

But rescuing Obamacare is the opposite of rescuing healthcare. Obamacare is the problem, not the solution.

In forcing Obamacare on us, the Big-Government politicians again wrote checks that economic reality cannot cash. Perhaps these Obamacare sycophants now understand why so many Canadians are denied care under their “universal” system. Nothing is free.

So, what is the true nature of U.S. healthcare?

Socialized Medicine implies the means the distribution of healthcare is a Government monopoly.

Free-Market implies that consumers and providers can freely choose between alternatives, or create new alternatives without Government approval.

Corporatism (Economic Fascism) implies the means of production are privately held, but the Government controls the market through regulations and subsidies. It’s the opposite of Free-Market.

Where does Obamacare fit?

Obamacare was created by Big Insurance, Big Pharma, and Big Government to benefit them, while creating the illusion that the politicians are giving away free stuff, while hiding the cost in our $38 Trillion national debt. It gives the government nearly 100% control over our healthcare while enriching the millionaires and billionaires. It’s pure Corporatism.

That is why Nancy Pelosi – the master of insider trading and Corporatism – so famously said of Obamacare: “We must pass it to see what’s in it!” Obamacare has always been a scam to rip-off healthcare consumers.

Taxpayers have been forced to give Big Insurance hundreds of billions of dollars to rescue Obamacare every year. Yet – as demonstrated by the recent Government shutdown — the same people who whine about “tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires” are purposely giving $Trillions of our tax money to the oligarchs. Can Bernie or AOC explain their positions?

Clearly, Obamacare was never intended to improve healthcare for working people. It was intended to enrich the oligarchs at the expense of working people.

Our now-nationalized Corporatist system allowed Big Pharma to conspire with the Biden Administration to defraud working Americans during COVID. Biden’s Healthcare-Industrial Complex successfully forced dangerous and expensive mRNA vaccinations on us, and profited over $100 Billion for killing thousands. A recently leaked FDA memo confirms that the COVID Vax killed many more children than COVID itself, and the Healthcare-Industrial complex knew it.

We cannot forget that the Healthcare-Industrial Complex forced physicians to violate their Hippocratic Oath by forbidding them to discuss the harms caused by the Vax itself, in spite of actual scientific evidence confirming the harm. They purposely ignored the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System database, which was designed to protect us from such harm.

We cannot overlook the suppression of safe, cheap, and effective therapeutics like Ivermectin (yes, the facts are in) while the Healthcare-Industrial complex pushed expensive, ineffective (and often deadly) experimental alternatives like Remdesivir.

We cannot overlook attacks by US Government Healthcare officials against our best scientists who warned against the vaccine fraud and the severe consequences of lockdowns to our society, our economy, and particularly our kids. Remember the autopen pardons?

So, if you think our nationalized Obamacare-based healthcare system is Free-Market, then you have been spending too much time at the pot dispensary.

If you think our nationalized Obamacare-based system is Socialized Medicine, you are getting close. It has all the same problems.

If you believe our nationalized Obamacare-based system is Economic Fascism (Corporatism) dictating your choices, then you are absolutely correct. If you understand Obamacare is a massive skimming operation ripping off consumers and taxpayers – then you are also correct. Obamacare now forces us to pay over $25,000 per year for a family of four, even after subsidies.

Sadly, Corporatism – the marriage of Big Corporations with Big Government – is everywhere present: Big Agra, Big Wind and Solar, Big Education, Big Universities, Big Science, etc. Big Healthcare is just one example, but we are now enslaved to all of them by law. There is no economic freedom, and you pay for it with inflation (affordability).

It’s time to get the Federal Government out of healthcare and out of our lives. It is time to allow consumers and markets to find the best solutions where the 50 States are 50 laboratories for creativity, innovation, and choice.

We must protect ourselves from the centralization of power in the hands of bureaucrats and big corporations.

The so-called “affordability crisis” in healthcare – and elsewhere – begins with Government intervention authorized by clueless politicians. It is time to liberate working people from medical serfdom. Start by repealing Obamacare.
