Get cracking on other issues

This is an open letter to U.S. Rep. Tom Reed:

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.

All the king’s horses

And all the king’s men

Couldn’t put Humpty together again!

Trump’s wall is not wanted by the majority of Americans.

The Mexican border is not in the right place to stop human trafficking, illegal immigration or drugs.

It would be a huge determent to environmental life.

Switch your allegiance, as other Republicans have done, before your goose is cooked.

‘Spread the Word’ on respect

Editor, OBSERVER:

March is “Spread the Word to End the Word” month.

What it is, is to get rid of the words “retard and retarded.” They are not very nice and kind words to say.

When someone calls a disabled person or persons a retard, it hurts their feelings!

They should use the new R word. It’s called RESPECT!

Treat people the way you want to be treated. You would not like it if someone made fun of you and called you names.
