A 1976 automobile accident left Ken Stearns of North Hill Road in the town of Villenova a paraplegic from the waist down at the age of 24. Mr. Stearns, however, doesn’t let his handicap keep him from handling chores on the farm, including driving a tractor, mowing and baling. The 1970 graduate of Pine Valley Central School also drives a car and goes hunting (he shoots from his vehicle).
