Love for her first horse, “Sunny,” has prompted Kathy Fleming of Fredonia to donate the animal for use by persons who take part in a therapeutic riding program near Westfield. Mrs. Fleming said she could not bear to see Sunny, a 23-year-old sorrel gelding, standing idly at her horse farm, Sunny Acres. She began searching for a way for Sunny to stay active and found it with Centaur Stride, a new therapeutic riding center owned and operated by Harry and Claudia Monroe. The facility is located on Jones Road in Westfield.
