DUNKIRK: JROTC program standing proud
There they were on May 27 at the front of the line. And why not? These students make many in Dunkirk and the surrounding communities proud.
We are making reference to the Dunkirk Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps, which is a staple of the city High School. Last month, the program celebrated excellence and the participants in a ceremony. It also celebrated many longtime members.
Fittingly, on Memorial Day, this group led the city parade as the community honored and remembered. We salute the leaders, SFC Frank Torain and LTC Russell Clark, and all the cadets.
