On Friday, the OBSERVER featured a photo of an important segment of our community on the front page: volunteers. That group played a tremendous role in the Farm Festival happening over the past weekend.
As usual, the event made for some congestion on Main and Temple streets. Besides packing Barker Common, a number of students were returning for the first day at the State University of New York at Fredonia on Monday.
Good times, vendors, a parade and music were appreciated. The 51st edition of the event and volunteer spirit were winners in the village.
