Our city neighbor in the south county is looking to Dunkirk as an example. Outgoing Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi is hoping to do what its north-county neighbor did: construct a splash pad.
Jamestown representatives were here earlier this week to look at one of the gems of Wright Park. In recent days, due to heat and humidity, it was a popular spot to be.
"He said it's extremely popular," Teresi told The Post-Journal of Mayor Wilfred Rosas' thoughts about Dunkirk's splash pad. "He said it's one of the best things they've done."
Plenty of youth and adults would agree.
