JAMESTOWN City may look to take plunge

Our city neighbor in the south county is looking to Dunkirk as an example. Outgoing Jamestown Mayor Sam Teresi is hoping to do what its north-county neighbor did: construct a splash pad.

Jamestown representatives were here earlier this week to look at one of the gems of Wright Park. In recent days, due to heat and humidity, it was a popular spot to be.

“He said it’s extremely popular,” Teresi told The Post-Journal of Mayor Wilfred Rosas’ thoughts about Dunkirk’s splash pad. “He said it’s one of the best things they’ve done.”

Plenty of youth and adults would agree.
