Sex harassment Deadline nears on state law
Another deadline set by the state is looming for business in the coming days. Per New York state law, all current employees of businesses must be provided with both a written policy regarding sexual harassment in the workplace, and with interactive training.
That deadline is Oct. 9.
Most companies have already taken care of this issue internally, but others may need assistance. For their part, the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce has been proactive in recent weeks in getting the word out and assisting business.
