School Forum Input necessary for next leader

Dunkirk City School District is being proactive while doing its next search for a superintendent. While board members ultimately have the final say in making the selection, it is good to see the district involving the community.
A second community forum regarding the search for a new leader is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 9 in the high school auditorium. Residents are being asked to discuss with the district’s consultants, WNY Educational Service Council, what characteristics they would like to see in the next leader.
This is the second forum for the district on this topic — and is important in setting a tone for the future of the school.
