WESTFIELD: Holiday spirit comes to town
With Christmas less than five weeks away, it is really starting to look like the joyous holiday — especially in the village of Westfield.
Starting Friday, a number of Christmas in the Village of Westfield events with a “A Dickens Holiday” theme includes: Children’s Night, 6:15 p.m.; Santa comes to town, lights the tree in Moore Park. Treats at YWCA, 58 S. Portage St.; and Victorian carolers.
Saturday continues a celebration that features Breakfast with Santa from 8 to 10 a.m. in the Presbyterian Church, 49 S. Portage St.; Hall of Christmas artisans and purveyors of fine merchandise at YWCA, 58 S. Portage St. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; a hot toddy crawl 10 to 4. Free horse-drawn carriage rides from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Parade of Light. at 5 p.m. and Brenda Eno art gallery at Lakeshore Center for the Arts decorated for Christmas. Also, there will be a Christmas movie marathon from 3 to 9 p.m. at Lakeshore Center for the Arts.
Sunday concludes the three-day happening with the famous — and 31st — Holly Tour of Homes.
