COUNTY: ‘Exercise respect’ in community
One thing to take away from recent press conferences and alerts sent out by local leaders is something that seems to already be evident. We need to show respect for our neighbors and community members.
During Sunday’s county briefing that was streamed live on Facebook, all officials indicated how important it was to work together while maintaining social distancing. “Exercise respect and be considerate of others, recognizing that we do not need to panic,” said Sheriff Jim Quattrone. “We can go to the store and do our normal shopping.”
This is a different world today than one week ago. It is uncomfortable — and no one is alone in how they are coping with this abrupt change.
