Many still feeling pain of virus

We have touched on this before, but it always is worth noting again. Many who have been displaced from work or had other hardships due to the coronavirus are facing a concern of when and where their next meal will be.

On Monday, our newspaper again touched on the crisis and the need for donations. In the article, pantries from Ripley to Dunkirk were featured. We urge those who want to help to donate to these agencies.

Also, if you really want to assist, there is a county COVID-19 fund that has been started by the United Ways and Community Foundations. For more information on this, call the United Way of Northern Chautauqua County at 366-5424.

Economies across the region and state are beginning to reopen. But the pain of the last 10 weeks will remain for awhile.
