If the pandemic was not enough to break a local business, a small blaze near its location did not have a chance. Om Nohm Gluten Free, which was one of seven firms to receive assistance after Fredonia’s “Small Business Revolution” win, is still standing and going.

“I feel like we have just been carried through all of the difficulty,” said owner Jessamine Daly-Griffen. “It’s such a reminder of how much we need each other as people and that our relationships with our community and with each other gives us that level of protection that we need to get through the hard times.”

While the blaze, which occurred near trash cans, did minor exterior damage to the back of the location, the inside was unscathed. That’s good news for this community and the Om Nohm customers, many of whom are grateful for the baking and friendly spirit of the business.
