BROCTON Arch Festival a welcome addition

A perfect addition to the fall season is coming to northern Chautauqua County. On Saturday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the first Arch Festival will be held.

Announced last week, during the Brocton Village Board meeting, the event will take place at Rychman Park on Fay Street.

“We’ve had a lot of people reaching out. I think it’s going to be very successful,” said Village Trustee Kari Doino.

The village is charging $20 for vendors to set up at the festival, with proceeds going to the Brocton-Portland Food Pantry and the Ahira Hall Memorial Library.

In addition, the Brocton Volunteer Fire Department will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers, and chili to raise funds for the fire department.

Fall is a great season to be in Western New York. This festival will provide a picturesque setting.
