One of Fredonia's most popular weekends will be filling downtown and Barker Common. Friday night begins the Red, White and Blues festival with performances at the Fredonia American Legion and Fredonia Beaver Club.
Saturday, however, is prime time. Music is scheduled to start at numerous venues from noon to 10 p.m. Live music will begin at the gazebo at noon with the MCJ Band, followed by the headliner Tommy Z at 3 p.m.
In addition, a 9/11 memorial motorcycle run and fundraiser to benefit the Fredonia Memorial Post 59 American Legion veteran banner fund also will take place. Registration starts at 10:45 a.m. and kick stands up by 11:30.
Several food trucks and wineries also will be in attendance, according to Festivals Fredonia -- the group of volunteers that does an excellent job in organizing a number of the village events annually.
