NORTH COUNTY Giving group is quietly aiding needy

A north-county organization continues to do a lot of good for those in need in the Dunkirk-Fredonia communities. A gathering on Saturday is an attempt to further goodwill while sending a message.

Partners in Kind is inviting residents to a Dip ‘n Sip Potluck with the organization Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Fredonia Presbyterian Church on Central Avenue. Attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite fall-inspired dip or non-alcoholic beverage and get to know the members behind Partners in Kind, learn about our mission and upcoming projects right here in Chautauqua County. The organization is also collecting new blankets for distribution to county agencies that serve children in crisis at this meeting. “We complete a variety of projects that aim to serve working people/families and populations often forgotten about,” the organization noted.

Partners in Kind of Chautauqua County is a community based group whose mission is to facilitate charitable efforts and promote acts of kindness in the community. Their efforts can be seen in bags of gloves, socks and hats that are displayed in colder months throughout the village and city. It also established a “Little Free Pantry” for residents to leave and take as they need.

Saturday’s event is one way to get to know the group. Another is through its Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PartnersinKind1215

Starting at $4.00/week.
