Monday Night Ladies League — The Monday Night Ladies played Round 8 with Low Net going to Charity Mucha with a 32. She also shot the Low Gross score of the evening with a 42. Low Team Net score went to Mucha/Nalepa with a 67. Sue Cave had a birdie on Hole 4.

Round 9 had Low Net Score go to Vicki Westling with a 35. She also shot Low Gross of 43. The Team Low Net score was had by Pietrkiewicz and Stokes with a 76. Vicki Westling had a birdie on Hole 7.

Round 10 saw Low Net score go to Beth Rich with a 34. Low Gross Score went to Charity Mucha with a 42. The Low Net Team score was played by Nalepa and Mucha with a 74. Beth Rich had birdies on Hole 3 and Hole 4. Bina Loftus also had a birdie on Hole 3.

After a rain-out, Round 11, the final Round for league scoring, was played with Viki Clark landing the Low Net score of 36. Charity Mucha had the Low Gross score for the evening with a 45. Low Team Net score went to Clark and Westling with a 75. Charity Mucha ended the season with an Eagle on Hole 4.

Vineyard Ladies Golf League (Sept. 24) — It was the last Fun Night of the 2018 season hosted by Beth Rich and Barb VanDette. The league play was stroke play format. Top places of the evening were: 1. Diane Enser, 2. Barb VanDette, 3. Beth Rich and Bina Loftus (tie) and 5. Carol Pietrkiewicz and Jan Stokes (tie). 50/50 draw winner was Sue Gotowka.

The league will have their banquet on Monday at the Colony Restaurant in Silver Creek.

Dr. John R. Forbes golf tourney is Saturday

On Sept. 29, the inaugural running of the Dr. John R. Forbes Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at the Cassadaga Country Club on Frisbee Road in Cassadaga.

The format is a nine hole, two person scrambler with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Members and guests are welcome to play. The cost is $40 for golfers and $30 for Cassadaga Country Club members. Those interested in playing should contact the country club at 595-3003 to register. Food and prizes are planned as well as a 50/50 drawing and raffles.

Chautauqua Tennis Club Open House Oct. 28

The Chautauqua Tennis Club will be hosting a New Member Open House on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 1-4 p.m. Come and join us for an afternoon of fun and refreshments. Learn about this well-kept secret where you can play tennis during the winter months right here in your own backyard. Members will be available to answer questions and membership forms will be available. Enjoy an entertaining junior and adult match and register for door prizes. The club is located at Floral Hall on the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds.
