Yoga/Pilates classes begin Thursday in Silver Creek

SILVER CREEK — The Community Education division of the Silver Creek Central School District, 1 Dickinson St., kicks off a Yoga/Pilates class offering on Thursdays from Nov. 29 through Dec. 20, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the weight room above the pool. The registration fee is $20 for four classes. Instructor Karen Bogosian, a fitness and aerobics instructor, will lead this gentle exercise class that will leave you feeling invigorated and relaxed. Pilates is great starting point for beginners, yet highly beneficial to the experienced exerciser. Pilates focuses on the strengthening of “core” muscles that help to define and elongate your body. Attendees should wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat. To register, visit www.silvercreekschools.org for more information and a registration form. Blue Devils host Kid’s Night Out on Friday

The SUNY Fredonia baseball team will be playing host to a Kid’s Night Out this Friday, Nov. 30, in the Steele Hall Fieldhouse. The event runs from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Cost is $10.
