Softball umpires rules classes to begin Jan. 9

The Chautauqua County Softball Umpires Association has announced the formation of a rules instruction class for anyone interested in umpiring high school softball games. Classes will be held at Cassadaga Valley Central School from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning Jan. 9 for a period of six weeks. Southern Tier Club to watch Bills at Falcon Club

The Southern Tier Bills Booster Club will watch the Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots game on Sunday at the Dunkirk Falcon Club. Barbequed hamburgers will be provided at halftime. Members may bring a dish to pass.
