SUNY Fredonia HS baseball clinics are Sunday
The SUNY Fredonia baseball team has rescheduled a pair of baseball clinics, originally set for Jan. 20, to this Sunday for grades 9-12. Pitchers and catchers will go from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A hitting and defense clinic will go from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $25 for one session and $30 for both. Lunch will be provided for those that attend both sessions.

Meet the Chautauqua Hurricane players Feb. 16
The Chautauqua Hurricane will be hosting a meet the players event on Saturday, Feb. 16 at The Salvation Army in Dunkirk. Fans will be offered a homemade meal, while fans can participate in free throw and 3-point contests with prizes available to the winners. There will also be a bake sale. The Hurricane will play against the Chautauqua Center at 2 p.m. that day. Tickets cost $10 and must be purchased by Feb. 11. Contact Nancy Rosario at (716) 397-0211 or email email@example.com. Catt. County Hall of Fame names Class of 2019
The 17th Annual Cattaraugus County Sports Hall of Fame Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 30 at the Cattaraugus Firemen’s Club beginning at 6 pm.
The HOF has selected 13 new members to be inducted this year that include: James Wojdan, (Cattaraugus-Little Valley), Peter Spear, (Franklinville), Kathy Woznek, (Olean), Doug Seamans, (Randolph), Scott Crist, (Salamanca), Tim Geiger, (Gowanda), Steve Skvarka, (Allegany-Limestone), Mike Loftus, (Ellicottville), Mary Doud, (Pioneer), Mike Williams, Jr., (West Valley), Lynford “Wimpy” Swetland, (Portville), Ken Roberts, (Hinsdale) and Marty Brisky (Cattaraugus County game official).

Lake Shore 3-on-3 basketball tourney is March 9
The Lake Shore High School Academy of Business and Finance will be sponsoring its annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Saturday, March 9. The double elimination tournament will be held at the Lake Shore High School gymnasium, 959 Beach Road, Angola with staggered start times beginning at 8:00 am and ending at 5 p.m.
Registration fees are $140 for 4-person adult teams, $100 for 4-person high school teams and $60 for 4-person youth (9-12 year old) and middle school teams. The registration fee includes an event jersey for each player. Brackets include Open Men, Open Women, High School Boys, High School Girls, Middle School Boys, Middle School Girls, Youth Boys and Youth Girls. Register online at www.lakeshorecsd.org.
The Academy will also be hosting a chicken barbecue at the event — the cost is $10 per meal. Meals may be prepurchased — information is available with registration information on the District’s website listed above. Basket drawings will also be held.
