Forestville alumni basketball game Feb. 1

There will be a Forestville High School alumni basketball game on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Forestville High School. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the boys game starting at 6 p.m. At halftime of the boys game, the girls will play half of a game. There will be a free-throw competition afterwards for all participants. Chautauqua Tennis Club Open House Jan. 26

The Chautauqua Tennis Club will be hosting a New Member Open House on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 from 12:30-1 p.m. At 1 p.m. there will be an exhibition match. Come and join us for an afternoon of fun and refreshments. Learn about this well-kept secret where you can play tennis during the winter months right here in your own backyard. Members will be available to answer questions and membership forms will be available. The club is located at Floral Hall on the Chautauqua County Fairgrounds. Softball umpires rules classes begin Jan. 29

The Chautauqua County Softball Umpires Association has announced the formation of a rules instruction class for anyone interested in umpiring high school softball games. Classes will be held at Cassadaga Valley Central School from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings beginning Jan. 29 for a period of five weeks.
