Haas, Olean swing past local golfers at Breezewood

FALCONER — Heather Haas from Olean was the medalist on the day, shooting a (40) at the Breezewood Golf Links.
Haas led Olean’s top five along with Maegan Winduf (49), Shannon McNamee (63), Marina Heister (64), Bailey Brushingham (64).
Olean defeated Fredonia 31-24, Ellicottville 40-15, Southwestern 36-19 and Jamestown 32-23.
Fredonia’s top five finishers were Ashley Holt (60), Mackenzie Markham (61), Caroline Cameron (62), Hannah Christy 65, Mary Holt (82).
Fredonia defeated Ellicottville 36-19 and Southwestern 31-24.
Southwestern’s top players were Carorlyn Ruby (59), Addie Everson (64), Joe Corey (68), Kenzie Slatten (68).
Southwestern beat Ellicottville 33.5-21.5.
Jamestown’s top five were Lexi Salvaggio (53), Sarah Pillittieri (54), Jenna Stockwell (58), Taylor Evan (69), Delaney Carnahan (70).
Jamestown won against Fredonia 31-24, Ellicottville 38-37 and Southwestern 32-23.
Brooke Eddy (66), Kaitlyn Maguire (75), Madison Kilby (78), Abby Danaghoe (81) rounded out the top players for Ellicottville.
Forestville 33, Silver Creek 22
FORESTVILLE — The Forestville Hornets (4-0, 3-0) defeated the Silver Creek Black Knights (2-2, 2-1) 33-22 Wednesday on the par 36 front nine of Tri County Country Club.
Leading the way for Forestville was medalist Lewis Markham, who shot a 39. Brock Ricketts finished with a 41, followed by Phil Narraway (47), Troy Torsell (52) and Hector West (58).
Connor Daniels shot a 44 to lead the Black Knights, followed by Zach Rybak (48), Kenny Pisa (51), Chris Pagano (60) and Andrew Hill (60).
Forestville will be back on the links Monday at South Hills versus Frewsburg.
