DHS girls’ bowling team moves to 16-0

Fredonia boys defeat Dunkirk

Dunkirk’s girls moved to 16-0, while the Fredonia boys won their match, during high school bowling action Monday afternoon at Lucky Lanes.

The Billies (14-2) won the boys’ match, 4-0, with Fredonia shooting 952-917-965-2,834. Dunkirk (11 ¢-5 ¢) rolled 889-884-876-2,649.

The Fredonia boys were led by Trace MacKenzie’s 226-193-213-632. Andrew Conti rolled a 222 game, Travis Langworthy had a 203 and Josh Ellman added a 202.

Leading Dunkirk was Tristan Skelly with 197-227-226-650. Jaxson Pencek rolled a 235, Jared Glowniak added a 223 and Trevor Skelly rolled a 200 game for the Marauders.

In the girls’ match, Dunkirk won, 4-0, with scores of 800-897-943-2,540 to Fredonia’s (2-14) 582-705-764-2,051.

The Lady Marauders were led by Rachel Glowniak with 176-197-222-595. Mariah Glowniak rolled 192-193-539. Whitney Hice added a 219.

Fredonia was led by Chris Anne Mosier with 163-179-474. Savannah Salim rolled 162- 193-472. Gillian Reed added a pair of 172 games.

Dunkirk is home on Wednesday against Jamestown. Fredonia is off until Jan. 3, when Silver Creek comes to Lucky Lanes.
