The Dunkirk High School Class of 1989 hosts its fourth annual Marauder Trotter 5k Run/Walk, Kids’ Run and community basket raffle this Saturday at 9 a.m. at Wright Park in Dunkirk in memory of their deceased classmates. The event is sponsored by David Barnes in memory of Elizabeth Barnes, the family of Jody Wdowiasz, the Butts family in memory of Susan Butts, Bob Ryczko, Jason Hallmark-CFP, Financial Advisor, Mark Maslakowski, Putnam Record Insurance Agency, Lake Shore Savings Bank, G & E Tents, Tables and Chairs, CrossFit Dunkirk, Simply Perfect Promotions and Eventz by Scott. Registration is available today from 5 to 7 p.m. at early race packet pickup at the Clarion Hotel tiki bar or the day of the race at Wright Park from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Funds from the event support the DHS Class of 1989 Memorial Scholarship managed by the Northern Chautauqua Community Foundation.
