The Fredonia girls tennis team lost its first match of the season on Monday, losing to Fairview, P.A. in a non-league match by a score of 4-1. Fredonia’s lone victory of the night was by Alicia Kluck, who won the second singles match 6-0, 6-2.

“Her match really impressed me,” said Fredonia head coach Lisa Johnston. “Every match she plays with confidence and finds her opponents weakness and capitalizes on her own strengths.”

Kluck now owns a 7-0 personal record on the year.

Fredonia will play their next match Wednesday at Southwestern.
