Panthers shut out Black Knights, 28-0

SILVER CREEK — The Gowanda/Pine Valley Panthers defeated the Silver Creek/Forestville Black Knights in a Class C North football matchup, 28-0, at Silver Creek High School on Friday night.

Gowanda/Pine Valley (3-3, 3-2) got two passing touchdowns in the second quarter from Justin Kohn to jump ahead 14-0 at the break. The Panthers added a touchdown in each quarter during the second half to finish off the scoring.

Kohn finished 9-13 for 124 and two touchdowns through the air. Ryan Gernatt led the way on the ground with 13 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown.

The Panthers finished with 280 total yards, while the Black Knights only totaled 97 yards as a team.
